Before you can start this assignment, read the theory pages in the book chapter Programming with large matrices:

• Assembly and np._ix

  • Forgot about np._ix? Look back at PA1.2 Filling a matrix

• Sparse matrices with scipy.sparse

• Solving systems of equations

In this assignment you’ll make exercises on sparse matrices comparing Dense vs Sparse

You pass this PA if you complete the implementation for dense and sparse matrix assembly leading to correct results
