After this demo, you’ll practise with the systems yourself with the following steps:
Ask for access to the book and assignment repositories at the IT coordinator with your GitHub username.
Read Textbook, Assignment files, (Deprecated) FTP-server for big and binary files and Git LFS repository for big and binary files.
If you’ve no experiences with books and git: go through ‘Your first TeachBook’ part of the TeachBooks manual which includes the ‘TeachBooks workflow’ exercises of the TeachBooks template. Exercise 6 can be skipped and for exercise 7 you can try one of the assignment repositories as ‘your friends repo’
Try and make edits to the teachers book with the following:
Add you profile picture to the Git LFS repository
Add your profile picture in the teacher’s page in the teacher’s book
Ask for a review.
Try and make edits on new branches in the MUDE-book / your own book from the previous step:
